Starting with Encore
What is Encore Performance Suite?
Encore is studio-management software built for dance and performance studios. It connects students, families, instructors, classes, attendance, registration, communication, tasks, reporting, choreography, costumes, and other studio workflows.
Who is Encore designed for?
Encore is designed for dance and performance studios that need a modern system for both day-to-day administration and the creative work surrounding classes and performances.
Do I have to book a demo before signing up?
No. You can create your studio account and subscribe online whenever you are ready. Demos are available for studios that want a guided walkthrough or help deciding what fits.
Is there a free trial?
No. Encore begins billing when you complete registration and secure checkout. Your studio account activates after payment.
When does billing begin?
Billing begins when your studio completes signup and checkout. Encore subscriptions are billed monthly.
Can Encore help me switch from another studio platform?
Yes. Encore can help plan onboarding and migration based on your current system, your studio size, and the data you need to bring over.
Can I add staff after I create my studio?
Yes. Administrators can add staff access as the studio is configured and ready to invite instructors or other administrators.
How billing works
How is Encore priced?
Encore uses student-record pricing bands combined with two software tiers: Essentials and Pro. Each tier also has a lower Software + Payments price when Encore Payments is enabled.
What counts as a student record?
Every non-deleted student record associated with the studio counts, including inactive and historical student records.
What happens when my studio moves into another pricing band?
Encore automatically schedules the correct student-record band for your next billing cycle. The change does not unexpectedly reprice the middle of your current cycle.
Will Encore tell me before my subscription price changes?
Yes. Encore creates an in-app subscription notice and sends an email when a student-record band change is scheduled.
Can I upgrade from Essentials to Pro?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and the current billing period is prorated.
Can I downgrade from Pro to Essentials?
Yes. Downgrades are scheduled for the next billing cycle so you keep your current Pro access through the period you already paid for.
Can I cancel Encore myself?
Yes. Studio administrators can schedule cancellation from Subscription & Billing without contacting sales.
What happens after I cancel?
Your studio continues to have access through the end of the current billing period. The subscription then stops renewing.
Can I change my mind after scheduling cancellation?
Yes. Before the subscription ends, you can choose “Keep My Subscription” and remove the scheduled cancellation.
What if my subscription payment fails?
Encore does not immediately shut the studio down. The system supports payment retries, warnings, email and in-app notices, and a grace period before access is restricted.
Is annual billing available?
Not at launch. Encore is billed monthly.
What is Software + Payments pricing?
Studios using Encore Payments receive a lower monthly software price. That discount applies while Encore Payments is enabled and connected.

How much does Drawing Board cost?
Drawing Board is $39 per month as a flat studio add-on.
Can Essentials studios use Drawing Board?
Yes. Drawing Board can be added to either Essentials or Pro.
Is Drawing Board priced per teacher or per dance?
No. The current pricing is one flat $39 monthly add-on for the studio rather than a per-teacher or per-dance fee.
